Toilette by Decoration Interieure Modern

Toilette made DIM (Decoration Interieure Modern), firm established in 1919 by René Joubert and Georges Mouveau at 19 Place de la Madeleine, Paris. The cabinet is made of burr walnut, with inlays, ivory details and a silver-plated bronze mirror support. The stool is also made of walnut root and ivory inlays with period upholstery.

The same toilet is exhibited at the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art in Portugal and also participated in the Universal exhibition in Paris in 1925.
